I took this shot at the end of 2018. Now, this was the first time when I went this much close to any cormorant and was seen posing like an angel flapping its wings before taking off. And it was also my first time at this sight. When I arrived at the site it was fishing in the river and as soon as it saw me, it got out of the water and got on the rock to dry its wings before flying away. Normally they don’t require drying their wings because I have seen many of them taking flight right away from the river. So while it was doing all these things I was crawling on my knees and trying to get as close as possible. After reaching the distance when it was okay for the bird I settled down and started trying to get the shot & in the end, I got a couple of shots where it's flapping wings.
